Wells 2M1284 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

The Wells 2M1284 is a direct-fit replacement vapor canister purge solenoid valve designed to restore proper evaporative emission control (EVAP) system function. This solenoid regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold, where they are burned during normal engine operation rather than released into the atmosphere.

A faulty purge solenoid commonly triggers a check engine light with EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) such as P0441, P0443, or P0446. Replacing the solenoid with a quality unit like the Wells 2M1284 helps restore fuel economy, eliminate emissions faults, and keep the vehicle running cleanly and efficiently.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement for a precise, hassle-free fit
• Restores proper EVAP system purge flow and function
• Helps resolve EVAP-related check engine light and diagnostic codes

• Durable construction for long-lasting, reliable performance
