Wells 5S2640 Mass Air Flow Sensor with Housing

The Wells 5S2640 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is a direct replacement sensor assembly designed for precise airflow measurement in fuel-injected engines. This sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine while compensating for various temperature and altitude conditions, sending voltage signals to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to determine the correct fuel mixture.

Key Features:

• Complete sensor assembly with housing for direct installation
• Designed to precisely track OE output curves and maintain factory tolerances to ensure accurate readings for proper ECM operation
• Hot-wire design for accurate mass airflow measurement
• Replaces OEM part numbers: 14094712, 19112533, 2133418, 213163, 27854, 57854, MA157, MF4712, MF5877, SU145, 986280103, 280213004, 74-4712
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a leading supplier of vehicle electronics solutions

Faulty mass air flow sensors can cause poor engine performance including hesitations, stalling and bad fuel economy due to cracked circuit boards and burnt elements from extreme temperatures. Installing a new MAF sensor restores proper engine performance and fuel efficiency by providing accurate airflow data to the vehicle's computer system.
