Wells 7F2005 Engine Crankcase Breather Element

The Wells 7F2005 is a direct-fit replacement engine crankcase breather element designed to restore proper crankcase ventilation performance. The crankcase breather element — also known as a crankcase vent filter or PCV breather filter — plays a critical role in the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system by filtering blow-by gases vented from the crankcase to the air intake, preventing oil mist, contaminants, and harmful emissions from entering the intake system or the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE replacement design for straightforward installation
• Engineered to match original equipment fit, form, and function
• Crankcase vent to air cleaner configuration
• Helps maintain proper crankcase pressure and engine breathing efficiency
• Prevents oil mist and contaminants from entering the intake or air cleaner
• Sold as a single (1-pack) unit

Replacing a worn, clogged, or cracked crankcase breather element is an essential part of routine engine maintenance. A restricted or failed breather can lead to increased crankcase pressure, oil leaks, rough idle, and premature engine wear. The Wells 7F2005 provides a reliable, cost-effective solution to restore breather system performance.
