Wells 4B1200 EVAP Vapor Canister Charcoal Canister Replacement

The Wells 4B1200 Vapor Canister is a direct-fit replacement EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control System) charcoal canister designed to restore proper emissions system function. The vapor canister captures and stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank that would otherwise be vented into the atmosphere, helping your vehicle meet emissions standards and prevent harmful hydrocarbon release.

When the engine is running under the right conditions, stored vapors are purged from the canister and routed into the intake stream to be burned in the combustion chamber, improving fuel efficiency and reducing waste.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form, and function
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicles
• Restores proper EVAP system operation and emissions compliance
• Direct replacement design for straightforward installation
• Helps eliminate fuel odors caused by a failing or saturated canister
• Helps resolve EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)

Common symptoms of a failed vapor canister include a strong fuel smell near the vehicle, illuminated check engine light with EVAP system fault codes, failed emissions testing, and difficulty starting. The Wells 4B1200 is a reliable aftermarket solution built to Wells Vehicle Electronics' industry-standard quality specifications.
