Wells 2N1022 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid (EVAP Purge Valve)

The Wells 2N1022 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid, also called an EVAP canister purge valve, controls the flow of stored fuel vapors from the vapor canister into the engine intake so they are burned during combustion. The engine control module opens and closes the valve based on operating conditions. This keeps the evaporative emission system working as designed.
