Wells 2M1590 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

The Wells 2M1590 is a direct-fit vapor canister purge solenoid valve designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications for proper evaporative emissions system (EVAP) operation. This solenoid controls the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold, where they are burned during normal engine combustion rather than released into the atmosphere.

A faulty purge solenoid can trigger a Check Engine Light (commonly codes P0440, P0441, P0442, or P0446), cause rough idle, reduced fuel economy, or an overpowering fuel smell near the vehicle. Replacing it with a quality unit like the Wells 2M1590 restores proper EVAP system function and helps the vehicle pass emissions testing.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — no modification required for installation

• Restores proper evaporative emissions (EVAP) system operation
• Helps eliminate EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
