Wells 2M1432 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Wells 2M1432 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a direct-fit replacement for your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. The purge solenoid controls the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal vapor canister into the engine's intake stream, where they are burned during normal combustion rather than released into the atmosphere.

The Engine Control Module (ECM) regulates when the valve opens and closes based on operating conditions. A failed purge solenoid can trigger a check engine light, degrade fuel economy, and cause stalling or drivability issues. Replacing it promptly helps restore proper EVAP system function and ensures the vehicle will pass emissions testing.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form, and function
• Compatible with both domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Includes OE-style brackets, hardware, and electrical connectors where applicable
• Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications
• Typically located under the hood, near the intake manifold

Common Symptoms of a Failing Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid:

• Check engine light illumination (EVAP-related fault codes)
• Stalling or drivability problems
• Poor fuel economy
• Failed emissions test

The Wells 2M1432 is part of Wells Vehicle Electronics' comprehensive line of premium emissions system replacement parts, designed to restore reliable EVAP system operation.
