Wells 2M1071 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

The Wells 2M1071 is a direct-fit Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve designed to restore proper evaporative emission control system (EVAP) function. This solenoid regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine's intake manifold, allowing the engine to combust stored vapors rather than releasing them into the atmosphere.

A faulty purge solenoid commonly triggers a Check Engine Light and EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) such as P0441, P0443, or P0446. Replacing the purge valve with a quality unit like the Wells 2M1071 helps restore fuel efficiency, reduce harmful emissions, and eliminate rough idle or hard-start conditions associated with EVAP system failure.
