Product Details

The Wells 1R1878 is a diesel glow plug relay designed to control the glow plug system in diesel-powered vehicles. This solenoid-type relay is engineered to manage the high-current electrical load required to activate glow plugs, which are essential for starting diesel engines in cold conditions.

Key Features:

  • Solenoid-type relay construction for reliable high-current switching
  • Designed and manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for performance and durability
  • High-current welded connections for long-term reliability
  • Direct replacement for proper diesel engine starting function
  • Compatible with mating connector 1P1006

Wells Vehicle Electronics relays are built with precision engineering to ensure proper thermal shutdown and overcurrent protection. A malfunctioning glow plug relay can cause difficult starting conditions, especially in cold weather, or prevent the engine from starting altogether. This relay provides the critical switching function needed to energize the glow plugs for the appropriate duration during the starting cycle.

Very easy order procedure

The casing on the speaker was broken, but I did have another casing to use. You only had one available, and I couldn't find it anywhere else, so I chose not to return it.

Great selection, best prices and products.

Product was as advertised. Packaging was poor. Furnace was damaged (bent in two places) but not enough to effect operation. Their prices were much better than other sites. Would definitely recommend for RV parts.

fast and complete service

Questions answered almost immediately and can't beat the price.

Initially I found the parts I needed but I had to make sure they were actually in stock so I sent an email. I got a reply back quickly verifying the parts were indeed in inventory so I placed the order. The parts were shipped and I got the tracking number and came quick. So I have nothing but good things to say about this order with THMotorsports.

Cheapest price on tires that fit my car I could find, If everything works out I will be ordering from here again in the future.
