Channellock E458 8" XLT High Leverage Center Cutting Pliers

The Channellock E458 8-inch High Leverage Center Cutting Plier (also called an end cutting plier or center cut plier) is built for mechanics and technicians who need clean, efficient cuts with less effort. Its precision-machined, center-cut design lines up the cutting edges in the center of the head to add leverage and cutting power.

Key Features:

• XLT Xtreme Leverage Technology: The rivet sits closer to the cutting edge, so cutting takes considerably less force than with traditional high-leverage designs. This also reduces hand fatigue.
• Center cut design: The cutting edges meet in the center of the plier head. This aligns force and leverage across the cut.
• Laser heat-treated cutting edges: The hardening pattern is consistent along the edge, which adds strength and edge life.
• High-alloy steel construction: The pliers are forged from improved high-carbon alloy steel with a coating for rust prevention.
• Slim, light, well-balanced profile: The slimmer head gives better access in tight spaces.
• Channellock Blue comfort grips
• Overall length: 8.31 in.
• 100% Made in the USA

These pliers suit automotive and general repair work such as cutting cotter pins, snap rings, throttle cables and similar items. They are a good fit for repair shops, body shops and home garages.
