GPD 1712704 HVAC Blower Motor Resistor Automatic Air Conditioning

The GPD 1712704 is a direct-fit HVAC blower motor resistor designed for the 2002–2007 Buick Rendezvous equipped with automatic air conditioning. This component is a critical part of the vehicle's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, regulating the voltage supplied to the blower motor to deliver multiple fan speed settings.

A failed blower motor resistor typically results in the fan operating only on the highest speed setting or not working at all on lower settings. Replacing this resistor restores full multi-speed blower operation and proper climate control functionality.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for original equipment blower motor resistor
• Designed for vehicles with automatic air conditioning (ATC)
• Restores full range of HVAC blower fan speeds
• Compatible pigtail connector harness: GPD 1712189 (sold separately)
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors) to meet OE fit and function standards
• OEM cross-reference: 10446577

For proper installation, ensure electrical connectors are clean and free of debris or moisture before fitting. The resistor is typically located on the passenger side under the dash, adjacent to the blower motor assembly.
