Parker Hannifin 163752P EBSSE-10-SX35 Thermostatic Expansion Valve 7/8" x 1-1/8" ODF

The Parker Hannifin 163752P is a Type EBS thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications. This externally equalized valve features a straight-through brass body construction with balanced port design, providing precise refrigerant flow control to maintain optimal evaporator superheat.

Key Features:

• Externally equalized design compensates for pressure drop through large evaporators
• Brass bar body with balanced port construction for durability and reliable performance
• 7/8" inlet x 1-1/8" ODF outlet connections accommodate standard refrigeration line sizes
• 10-ton nominal capacity suitable for medium to large commercial systems
• Permanent 12-mesh strainer at inlet protects valve internals from contaminants
• 1/4" external equalizer connection allows accurate superheat sensing at evaporator outlet
• 5-foot capillary tube with sensing bulb for remote temperature measurement

This TXV regulates refrigerant flow by maintaining nearly constant superheat at the evaporator outlet, ensuring efficient system operation while preventing liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor. The external equalization feature makes this valve ideal for systems with distributors or evaporators experiencing significant pressure drops, maintaining high efficiency across varying load conditions.
