Sensus 243-12-1M-2 Gas Pressure Regulator 2" NPT 1.25" Orifice External Control

The Sensus 243-12-1M-2 is a large-capacity gas pressure regulator (service regulator) with a 2" NPT connection and a 1.25" orifice. It has an external control line connection and a 12-28" w.c. spring range. It is built for commercial, industrial, and gas distribution work.

Key Features:

• Connection size: 2" NPT
• Orifice: 1.25" (1-1/4")
• Spring range: 12" to 28" w.c.
• External control: external control line connection, 1/4" NPT, for remote pressure sensing
• Diaphragm: 12" diaphragm (Model 243-12 series)
• Construction: cast iron body (ASTM A126 Class B) with a die-cast aluminum alloy diaphragm case
• Temperature range: -20 to 150 °F
• Interchangeable design: the union connection between body and diaphragm-case assembly lets the regulator adapt to different field conditions

The Sensus Model 243 series is used mainly with natural gas. It also works with LPG vapor, air, dry CO2, nitrogen, and other inert gases. Typical uses include boilers, burners, furnaces, ovens, heaters, kilns, and engines. The design is easy to install, adjust, inspect, and service in many piping arrangements.
