Product Details

The Isky Racing Cams 404 Valve Spring Shims provide precise valve spring height adjustment for high-performance engine builds. This 16-piece shim pack allows engine builders to achieve optimal valve spring installed height, ensuring proper spring pressure and valve train geometry.

Key Features:

  • Precision-machined shims for accurate spring height adjustment
  • Helps achieve proper valve spring pressure and seat load
  • Essential for custom valve train setups and performance applications
  • 16-piece pack provides shims for 8-cylinder engine or multiple builds
  • Manufactured by Isky Racing Cams, a trusted name in valve train components since 1948

Valve spring shims are critical when installing aftermarket valve springs, cylinder heads, or performance camshafts. They compensate for variations in head milling, different spring seat depths, and allow precise tuning of installed spring height to meet manufacturer specifications. Proper shimming ensures consistent valve spring pressure across all cylinders, preventing valve float and maximizing engine performance and reliability.
