The Wiseco K679M88AP is a forged Sport Compact piston set engineered for the Chrysler/Dodge 2.4L turbocharged A853 engine. Featuring a -22cc dish crown and an 8.0:1 compression ratio, this set is purpose-built for turbocharged applications where lower compression is required to safely handle elevated boost pressure. Each kit includes four pistons along with rings, pins, and locks — everything needed for a complete bottom-end rebuild.

These pistons feature Wiseco's "AP" Armor Plating coating on the crown and wrist pin bore, an abrasion-resistant plating that increases aluminum hardness, improves ring groove durability, prevents micro-welding of piston rings, reduces carbon buildup, and combats corrosion caused by detonation. The skirts are treated with Wiseco's ArmorGlide coating for seizure resistance, reduced friction, and quieter operation.
