Apex Chassis KIT131 2.5 Ton ProLock Tie Rod Assembly Steel

The Apex Chassis KIT131 is a complete heavy-duty replacement tie rod assembly built for demanding on- and off-road use. This 2.5 Ton ProLock Tie Rod Assembly is constructed from DOM steel and features forged steel tie rod ends engineered to outlast and outperform factory steering components.

The kit includes the DOM steel tie rod (which also serves as the adjusting sleeve), left and right forged steel tie rod ends, and Apex's proprietary ProLock Washers. Note: The steering stabilizer bracket is not included and must be selected separately based on your steering stabilizer.

Fitment Notes: Compatible with both Dana 44 and Dana 30 axles. Wheels with greater than 4.75" backspacing (such as AEV or stock Rubicon wheels) may require a 1.5" spacer. Works with a 17" wheel at 4.75" backspacing or less. Steering stabilizer should be fitted in the stock location; a relocation kit may be required in some configurations.

Important: Steel connecting rods are not designed for rock crawling. Impact damage from rocks is not covered under warranty. For rock crawling applications, consider the aluminum connecting rod options. Jam nut wrench kit KIT521 (2x WR112 41mm/46mm) and replacement set screws XP172 are available separately.
