Direct ignition coils are located directly over the top of the spark plug, with one ignition coil per spark plug and no spark plug wires required. The coil provides the high-voltage power needed for spark plug ignition. Eldor is a world-renowned OE manufacturer of ignition coils used as genuine equipment for many high-end brands including BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Rolls Royce. We recommend using dielectric grease during installation to protect the spark plug boot and create a proper seal.
