International Environmental 71488515 120-277V Normally Closed 2-Wire Zone Valve Actuator

The International Environmental 71488515 is a normally closed (NC) electric zone valve actuator designed for hydronic heating systems in commercial and multi-family residential applications. This 2-wire actuator operates on universal voltage (120-277VAC, 50/60Hz) and draws 700mA, making it compatible with a wide range of HVAC control systems.

Key Features:

• Universal voltage operation: 120-277VAC at 50/60Hz for flexible installation
• Normally closed (NC) configuration with spring return mechanism
• 2-wire control circuit for simplified wiring and thermostat integration
• Low power consumption at 2 watts (700mA current draw)
• UL Listed for safety and code compliance
• Direct replacement for Taco zone valve systems
• Compatible with SPST thermostats for on/off zone control

This actuator is engineered for use with International Environmental fan coil units and hydronic zone control valves. The normally closed design ensures the valve remains shut when de-energized, opening only when powered by a thermostat call for heat. The 2-wire configuration eliminates the need for end switch wiring, simplifying installation in multi-zone heating systems. Ideal for applications in hospitality, healthcare, educational facilities, and commercial buildings requiring reliable zone temperature control.
