Advanced Distributor Products 67304102 R410A Thermostatic Expansion Valve with Bleed Port for Heat Pump and Air Conditioning Systems

The Advanced Distributor Products 67304102 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed specifically for heat pump and air conditioning systems using R410A refrigerant. This bleed-type TXV provides precise refrigerant metering to optimize system performance and efficiency in residential HVAC applications.

Key Features:

• Engineered for R410A refrigerant systems
• Bleed port design allows small amount of refrigerant bypass during compressor startup, reducing stress on reciprocating compressors
• Suitable for both heat pump and air conditioning applications
• Brass construction with copper distributor tube assembly for reliable service
• Includes temperature sensing bulb with capillary tube for accurate superheat control
• Compatible with ADP evaporator coils and various HVAC systems

The thermostatic expansion valve automatically regulates refrigerant flow based on system conditions, maintaining proper superheat and preventing liquid refrigerant from reaching the compressor. The bleed feature is particularly beneficial in heat pump applications where system pressures vary between heating and cooling modes. Installation requires proper bulb placement on the suction line and matching the TXV capacity to the condensing unit tonnage for optimal performance.
