AprilAire 6612 12-Inch Round Zone Damper Normally Open Power Close 24V Galvanized Steel

The AprilAire 6612 is a 12-inch round automatic zone damper designed for HVAC zoning systems. Part of the AprilAire 6600 Series, this motorized damper is built from 24-gauge galvanized steel for durable, long-lasting performance in residential and commercial duct systems. It operates on a power close / spring open design, meaning it requires a 24V signal to close and automatically springs open if power is lost — a fail-safe feature critical for system reliability.

Key Features:

• 12-inch round duct diameter — compatible with rigid metal and flex duct
• Power close / spring open operation for fail-safe airflow
• Two-wire installation for simplified wiring and setup
• 24 VAC, 60 Hz synchronous motor — rated at 6W / 10 VA
• Impedance-protected motor for continuous stall protection
• Adjustable stop in the closed position for precise blade positioning
• Integrated foam seal for improved airflow control and reduced leakage
• Position indicator for quick visual troubleshooting
• Galvanized steel construction — 24-gauge for strength and corrosion resistance

The AprilAire 6600 Series round dampers are engineered to work seamlessly with HVAC zone control systems, helping to balance airflow and improve comfort throughout multi-zone installations.
