Tsu CA 14510-5A2-A02 Timing Chain Tensioner for Honda Engines

The Tsu CA 14510-5A2-A02 is an aftermarket timing chain tensioner designed as a direct replacement for Honda OEM part number 14510-5A2-A02. This critical engine component maintains proper tension on the timing chain to ensure accurate valve timing and optimal engine performance.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for Honda OEM part 14510-5A2-A02 (replaces 14510-5A2-A01)
• Compatible with Honda K24W, K20C2, and L15 engines
• Maintains proper timing chain tension for accurate valve timing
• Helps eliminate cold-start rattle common in affected Honda models
• Hydraulic design with internal spring mechanism
• Reduces wear on timing chain guides, sprockets, and camshafts

This timing chain tensioner is commonly used in 2013-2022 Honda Civic, Accord, and CR-V models equipped with 1.5L and 2.4L engines. A worn timing chain tensioner often manifests as rattling or clattering noise during cold starts, indicating the internal mechanism is weakening and allowing the chain to go slack temporarily before oil pressure builds. Replacing the tensioner restores proper chain tension at startup and protects critical engine components from premature wear.
