Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 1840079 Solenoid Valve Body with Manual Stem 5/8" Sweat

The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 1840079 is a refrigeration solenoid valve body designed for reliable shut-off control in HVAC and refrigeration systems. This normally closed valve body features 5/8" sweat (ODF) connections and is sold without the electromagnetic coil, allowing you to select the appropriate coil separately based on your voltage requirements.

Key Features:

• 5/8" sweat (ODF) copper connection size for brazed installation
• Normally closed (NC) configuration for fail-safe operation
• Manual stem feature allows manual valve operation for service and testing
• Sold without coil for flexible voltage selection
• Suitable for liquid, suction, and hot gas line applications
• Compatible with standard Alco/Emerson solenoid coils
• Can be brazed into refrigerant lines without disassembly

This valve body is ideal for commercial refrigeration systems, air conditioning equipment, and heat pump applications where precise refrigerant flow control is required. The integrated manual stem allows technicians to manually open the valve during service procedures such as evacuation, nitrogen purging, or system testing without requiring electrical power to the coil.
