The Carli Suspension AS-FPAP-11-DRIVER is a driver-side progressive add-a-pack leaf spring component designed specifically for 2011-2016 Ford F250/F350 4x4 trucks. Built exclusively for Carli by Deaver Spring Manufacturing, this proprietary design offers a superior alternative to the factory overload spring system.

How It Works:

The factory lower overload leaf is removed and replaced with thinner gauge leaves, maintaining OEM load capacity while achieving improved ride quality. By replacing the lower overload springs, which are typically one inch thick and do not follow the contour of the rest of the pack, with a mini progressive six-leaf pack, the overall capacity of the truck remains unchanged. The progression of the rear spring rate becomes significantly more predictable, resulting in smoother engagement and disengagement of the spring, thereby improving both ride quality and traction.

Important Application Note:

The F350 equipped with the Add-a-Pack can be very stiff in the rear as the main pack doesn't move much unless loaded, and for this reason, Carli does not recommend installation on F350 trucks. This progressive add-a-pack is best suited for F250 applications where it provides a noticeable improvement over stock suspension performance.
