Cometic C5317-075 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket GM Gen III/IV Bore - LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6 4.130

The Cometic C5317-075 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered for GM LS Gen III and Gen IV small block V8 engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 applications. This gasket features a 4.130-inch bore diameter and a compressed thickness of 0.075 inches (75 thousandths), making it ideal for high-performance and racing applications where precise compression control is essential.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel construction for superior sealing and durability under extreme cylinder pressures
• 4.130-inch bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly overbored LS engines
• 0.075-inch compressed gasket thickness allows fine-tuning of compression ratios
• Compatible with LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, and other Gen III/IV small block V8 engines
• Advanced MLS design provides excellent resistance to head lift and combustion pressure
• Engineered for high-performance, forced induction, and racing applications

Cometic MLS head gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with specialized coatings to create a reliable seal between the cylinder head and engine block. The flexible yet durable construction accommodates thermal expansion and contraction while maintaining consistent sealing pressure across the entire combustion chamber surface.
