This comprehensive single turbocharger installation kit from Wehrli Custom Fabrication enables you to upgrade from the stock IHI turbo to a larger frame Borg Warner S400 style turbocharger on 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel engine. The kit features a 5-inch fabricated aluminum intake with heavy duty sheet metal air box and high-performance dry filter with pre-filter cover, 3-inch mandrel bent 14-gauge aluminum intercooler piping, and an upgraded high-flow 3-inch fabricated billet y-bridge that replaces the restrictive stock upper intake manifold.

• 5-inch intake with fabricated aluminum air box and lid constructed of 10-gauge aluminum sheet
• 14-gauge mandrel bent aluminum piping throughout
• Premium dry media air filter with Outerwear's pre-filter cover
• T4 pedestal and spacer with mounting hardware
• High-quality stainless steel braided Parker oil feed and drain lines with fittings
• 3-inch fabricated high-flow y-bridge
• 3-inch hot side and cold side intercooler pipes
• 3-inch down pipe with high-temp coating (connects to exhaust system flange)
• Driver side transmission dipstick tube for easier down pipe installation

Oil lines route from the main oil galley on the side of the engine block and feature high-quality stainless steel braided construction. The down pipe is designed to connect with your exhaust system using a V-band and clamp, which simplifies installation and eliminates the need to cut your exhaust system.

Important Installation Notes:

• Turbo downpipe is designed for Half Marmon style S400 exhaust outlet which measures 4.6-inch diameter flat flange and is not compatible with HX40 style exhaust outlet flanges.
• Forward-facing thermostat required: The OEM turbo coolant feed port will interfere with the larger turbo intake, so you must use a WCFab Billet forward-facing thermostat housing kit (WCF100405) to complete installation.
• Turbo not included - kit is designed for S400-based turbochargers
