Caleffi Z45 24V 3/4" Sweat Zone Valve Normally Closed 2-Way

The Caleffi Z45 is a 24-volt motorized zone valve designed for hydronic heating systems. This normally closed (N.C.) 2-way valve features 3/4-inch sweat connections for easy installation with copper tubing.

Key Specifications:

• 24-volt AC operation for compatibility with standard HVAC control systems
• 3/4-inch sweat (solder) connections for copper pipe
• Normally closed configuration - valve closes when de-energized
• 7.5 Cv flow coefficient for efficient water flow
• 20 PSI maximum working pressure rating
• Auxiliary switch for end switch or circulator control
• 18-inch pre-wired electrical leads for easy connection

This zone valve is ideal for controlling water flow in individual heating zones, allowing for precise temperature control in multi-zone hydronic heating applications. The auxiliary switch enables coordination with system circulators or provides feedback to building automation systems. The normally closed design provides fail-safe operation, ensuring zones remain closed during power interruptions.
