Burnham 101379-01 TPI Immersion Control for Alliance SL Indirect Water Heater

The Burnham 101379-01 is a TPI (Temperature Programming Interface) immersion control specifically designed for Burnham Alliance SL series indirect-fired water heaters. This electronic temperature control replaces failed or malfunctioning factory-installed controls and manages water temperature with precision through an immersion sensor that monitors tank temperature.

Key Features:

• 24VAC operation requiring only 20mA (0.5 Watts) for efficient, low-power performance
• Factory preset to 120°F with 10°F differential for safe, comfortable water temperature
• Adjustable temperature range from 110°F to 160°F to suit your hot water needs
• Built-in green LED indicator light shows operational status - solid when satisfied, blinking when calling for heat, red flashing indicates failure
• Integrated normally open relay rated for both 24V and 110V wiring for circulator or zone valve control
• Compatible with all Alliance SL models including 27, 35, 50, 70, and 119-gallon water heaters

This immersion control features an adjustable differential setting and precision temperature sensing through an immersion well sensor. The unit activates either a circulator pump or zone valve when tank temperature falls below the set point, ensuring consistent hot water availability. Installation requires connection to 24VAC power supply and appropriate wiring to heating system controls.

Application: Replacement temperature control for Burnham Alliance SL indirect water heaters. Designed to work seamlessly with boiler-based hot water systems where the water heater operates as a separate heating zone.
