Velocity Boiler Works 960129 Resetable Spill Switch 200F

The Velocity Boiler Works 960129 is a resetable spill switch designed to enhance safety in residential and commercial boiler systems. This thermal safety device is preset to trip at 200°F, providing critical protection against dangerous flue gas spillage into living or working spaces.

Key Features:

• 200°F temperature setpoint for reliable flue gas spillage detection
• Resetable design allows system restart after addressing the fault condition
• Mounts in the draft hood or vent connector area to monitor exhaust temperatures
• Automatically shuts down the boiler when excessive flue temperatures indicate backdrafting or spillage
• Helps ensure proper venting and combustion safety
• Compatible with Velocity Boiler Works heating systems and other applications requiring spill switch protection

This spill switch is an essential safety component that monitors the temperature of flue gases exiting the boiler. When improper venting, blockages, or backdrafting conditions cause temperatures to reach the 200°F threshold, the switch opens to shut down the boiler and prevent potentially hazardous combustion gases from entering the building. The manual reset feature ensures that the underlying issue must be identified and corrected before the system can be restarted.
