Armstrong International C3510-2 1AV Cast Iron Air Vent 3/4 Inch NPT 146 PSI

The Armstrong International C3510-2 is a Model 1AV cast iron free-floating lever air/gas vent designed for efficient air elimination in hydronic heating systems, water service lines, storage tanks, centrifugal pumps, gas lines, and similar industrial applications. This professional-grade vent features a 3/4-inch NPT threaded connection with a 1/8-inch orifice for optimal air release capacity.

Key Features:

• Cast iron construction (ASTM A48 Class 30) for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance
• Free-floating lever mechanism ensures positive, leak-tight closing under all conditions
• Maximum operating pressure of 146 PSIG for reliable performance
• Maximum allowable pressure of 300 PSIG at 200°F
• Suitable for specific gravity down to 0.40
• 3/4-inch NPT inlet connection with 1/8-inch orifice size
• Proven design utilizing the same reliable mechanisms found in Armstrong inverted bucket steam traps

The 1AV series employs a hemispherical valve and seat design with a guidepost to ensure consistent, leak-tight valve closing. The free-floating lever provides high leverage to open the orifice when air accumulates, allowing system pressure to expel trapped air efficiently. Ideal for low-capacity air/gas venting applications in demanding industrial environments where reliable air elimination is critical for system performance and equipment longevity.
