Armstrong International B1669-1 Pressure Change Assembly Kit 1/4" Orifice 15 PSI

The Armstrong International B1669-1 is a complete Pressure Change Assembly (PCA) kit that includes valve, valve retainer, guide pin assembly, valve lever, and valve seat. This kit contains all parts necessary for repairing the valve mechanism for Armstrong inverted bucket steam traps with a 1/4" orifice, designed for reliable condensate drainage and efficient steam system operation.

Compatible Steam Trap Models:

• Series 211 at 15 PSI
• Series 310 at 15 PSI
• Series 811 at 15 PSI
• Series 881 at 15 PSI
• Series 981 at 20 PSI

Key Features:

• 1/4" discharge orifice for 15 PSI operating pressure
• Complete assembly includes valve, valve seat, valve retainer, lever, and guide pin assembly with screws
• Pressure change assemblies are the lever and seat assemblies that attach to the inverted bucket
• All Armstrong inverted bucket steam traps are repairable for operational savings
• Genuine Armstrong International replacement part

The PCA mechanism works with the inverted bucket to keep the valve closed when steam is present, then opens the seat to drain condensate and air when steam cools and the bucket drops. These assemblies should be replaced every five to seven years to ensure proper operation.
