Parker Hannifin 904062P HGBE-8 Discharge Bypass Valve 7/8" ODF 75-150 PSI

The Parker Hannifin 904062P is a discharge bypass valve designed for refrigeration and air conditioning systems requiring precise pressure regulation and compressor protection. This mechanical valve automatically maintains minimum evaporating pressure during varying load conditions, preventing compressor short cycling and evaporator coil freezing.

Key Features:

• Operating pressure range: 75 to 150 psig
• 7/8" ODF (flare) connections for easy installation
• Opens on decrease in suction pressure to maintain minimum evaporating temperature
• Prevents compressor short cycling during low-load conditions
• Protects evaporator from freezing in variable load applications
• Compatible with common refrigerants
• Part of Parker's Sporlan HGBE series

This hot gas bypass valve diverts discharge gas from the compressor to the evaporator inlet when suction pressure drops below the valve setting, creating a false load that stabilizes system operation. Ideal for applications including commercial HVAC systems, process cooling equipment, server rooms, and any refrigeration system experiencing fluctuating loads. The valve responds automatically to pressure changes, helping extend compressor life and improve system reliability.
