Parker Hannifin 903581P ADRHE-6 Discharge Bypass Valve 7/8" ODF 0-80 PSI

The Parker Sporlan ADRHE-6 discharge bypass valve limits the minimum evaporating pressure during periods of low load to prevent coil icing and avoid operating the compressor at suction pressures below its operating range. This modulating control valve automatically bypasses the required amount of discharge gas to the low side to maintain the desired minimum evaporator pressure.

Key Features:

• Discharge bypass valve with adjustable pressure range of 0 to 80 PSI
• 7/8" ODF (flare) connections with 3/4" port size
• External equalizer with 1/4" ODF connection
• Brass body construction
• Design working pressure of 500 PSI (34.5 bar)
• Optional inlet strainer available

This valve is applicable on any refrigeration or air conditioning system that operates during periods of low load, which can result in coil icing or short cycling. The valve responds to downstream pressure changes and opens when the evaporator pressure falls below the valve setting. At normal loads and evaporator conditions, the valve remains closed and the system operates in a conventional manner.

Applications: Air conditioning systems (residential, unitary, packaged units, chillers), commercial and industrial refrigeration, coolers, freezers, walk-in units, cases, and transportation refrigeration.
