Parker Hannifin 903560P ADRHE-6 Discharge Bypass Valve 7/8" ODF 0-30 PSI

The Parker Hannifin 903560P is a direct-acting discharge bypass valve designed to provide an economical method of compressor capacity control in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This modulating control valve automatically bypasses the required amount of discharge gas to the low side to maintain the desired minimum evaporator pressure.

Key Features:

• Model: ADRHE-6 series direct-acting discharge bypass valve
• Connection Size: 7/8" ODF (sweat) solder connections
• Port Size: 3/4 inch
• Pressure Range: 0 to 30 PSI adjustable
• Brass body construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Adjustable pressure setting for system optimization

How It Works:

When the evaporating pressure is above the valve setting, the valve remains closed. As the suction pressure drops below the valve setting, the valve responds and begins to open. At normal loads and evaporator conditions, the valve remains closed and the system operates in a conventional manner.

Applications:

This valve is applicable on any refrigeration or air conditioning system that operates during periods of low load, which can result in coil icing or short cycling. It limits the minimum evaporating pressure during periods of low load to prevent coil icing and avoid operating the compressor at suction pressures below its operating range.

The discharge bypass valve is normally applied in a branch line off the discharge line. It can be used in place of cylinder unloaders or to handle unloading requirements below the last step of cylinder unloading, providing precise capacity control for optimal system performance.
