Parker Hannifin 903109P LAC-10-295HP Head Pressure Control Valve

The Parker Hannifin 903109P is a LAC-10-295HP head pressure control valve designed to maintain optimal performance in refrigeration and air conditioning systems during varying ambient conditions. This three-way modulating valve responds to receiver pressure to ensure proper refrigerant flow management and stable system operation.

Key Features:

• Three-way modulating valve design responds to receiver pressure for precise control
• Brass body construction with copper ODF (flare) connections for durability and leak-free performance
• Connection sizes: 1-3/8" discharge inlet x 1-1/8" condenser inlet x 1-1/8" receiver outlet
• Pressure setting: 295 PSI for reliable low ambient operation
• Design working pressure: 450 PSI maximum
• Non-adjustable factory-tested design ensures consistent performance
• Temperature range: -40°F to 125°F

Operation: During low ambient conditions, the valve limits refrigerant flow from the condenser while regulating hot gas flow around the condenser to the receiver, maintaining proper liquid line pressure. As receiver pressure drops below the valve setting, discharge gas bypasses the condenser to warm the liquid and raise pressure. In high ambient conditions, the valve allows full liquid flow from condenser to receiver.

This valve is essential for commercial refrigeration, HVAC systems, and industrial refrigeration applications where maintaining consistent head pressure during temperature fluctuations is critical for energy efficiency and system longevity.
