Parker Hannifin 903106P LAC-10-295HP Head Pressure Control Valve 1-3/8" x 7/8" x 7/8" ODF

The Parker Hannifin LAC-10-295HP is a three-way modulating head pressure control valve that responds to receiver pressure, designed for maintaining optimal performance in refrigeration and HVAC systems during varying ambient conditions. This valve features a brass body with copper connections and is nonadjustable, with ODF connections measuring 1-3/8" (discharge), 7/8" (condenser), and 7/8" (receiver) with a 295 PSI pressure range.

How It Works:

The receiver pressure acts under the diaphragm, and as receiver pressure drops below the valve setting, the seat moves away from the discharge port allowing discharge gas to bypass the condenser, warming the liquid in the receiver and raising pressure to the valve setting. At the same time, liquid flow from the condenser is restricted, allowing liquid to back up in the condenser, flooding it and reducing the area available for condensing, thus raising condensing pressure. During summer conditions, the seat closes the discharge port due to high pressure in the receiver, resulting in full liquid flow from the condenser to the receiver.

Applications:
