Parker Hannifin 902905P OROA-5 Head Pressure Control Valve 5/8" ODF 100 PSI

The Parker Hannifin 902905P is a nonadjustable OROA-5 head pressure control valve designed for refrigeration and HVAC systems. This valve performs the critical function of limiting the flow of liquid refrigerant from the condenser while simultaneously regulating hot gas flow around the condenser to the receiver during low ambient operating conditions.

Key Features:

• 5/8" x 5/8" x 5/8" ODF (Oxygen Desolubilized Copper) solder connections
• 100 PSI pressure setting, ideal for R134a refrigerant systems
• Nonadjustable factory-set pressure control for consistent performance
• Brass body construction with copper connections for durability
• Integrated ORD valve pressurizes the receiver
• Built-in inlet strainer protects against contamination
• 450 PSI design working pressure
• Factory tested for leak-free operation

The OROA valve operates on the principle of "Open on Rise of Outlet" pressure, with the main orifice controlled by a diaphragm that responds to outlet pressure changes. This ensures proper head pressure maintenance and prevents refrigerant starvation during cold weather operation. Typically installed in the liquid line between the condenser and receiver, this valve is suitable for residential and commercial air conditioning systems, refrigeration equipment, and packaged units with remote condensers.
