Product Details

The Parker Hannifin 450039-001 (model SLD8-4SVHH) is a Gold Label suction line filter drier designed for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This compact filter drier features 1/2" ODF (outside diameter flare) sweat connections for easy brazing installation into copper suction lines.

Key Features:

  • 1/2" ODF copper braze fittings for reliable installation
  • HH style core with activated charcoal blend for enhanced contaminant removal
  • Rated for 1/2 to 2-1/2 ton systems using R-22 or R-410A refrigerants
  • Blended desiccant formula with molecular sieve and activated alumina
  • Excellent for motor burnout cleanup and system protection
  • Compatible with multiple refrigerants including R-12, R-134a, R-410A, R-22, R-404A, R-407C, R-500, R-502, and R-507

The HH core incorporates a special charcoal blend that removes moisture, acids, foreign particles, wax, resins, and oil breakdown products that standard desiccants cannot capture. This makes it particularly effective for cleaning contaminated systems and preventing compressor damage. The molded porous core provides exceptional filtration with negligible pressure drop, while the solid copper fittings ensure proper fit and long-term reliability.

The casing on the speaker was broken, but I did have another casing to use. You only had one available, and I couldn't find it anywhere else, so I chose not to return it.

It seems to work. My reverse lights don't seem to work but I'm going to mess with it more after this storm thats coming in.

Purchased a Dometic 16K AC retrofit unit to replace one that died after 20 years. Price for unit was comparable to other sites, and these other sites did not have the product in stock. Other sites were not specific on when part would be available. Boatplicity offered the best price for available stock. Part arrived as promised and delivery was on time. Arrived in excellent condition due to careful shipping packaging. AC unit has been installed and appears to be working well. Thanks for your assistance. Will use your site again for future purchases.
