UMI Performance 4060-1 Heavy-Duty Front Bump Steer Adjuster Kit | Race Quality

The UMI Performance 4060-1 is a heavy-duty front bump steer adjuster kit engineered for ultra-high-performance applications including large-tire road racing, autocross, and high-speed drag racing. By allowing precise adjustment of the outer tie rod height, this kit helps reduce or eliminate unwanted toe change during wheel travel — commonly known as bump steer — for improved steering precision and driver feedback.

The adjuster sleeve is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum hex stock with a hard black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and lightweight durability. The sleeve features 5/8-18 RH and 11/16-18 LH threads with an overall sleeve length of 9.20 inches. A heavy-duty 5/8" bolt replaces the factory tapered outer tie rod stud, providing significantly increased strength for race and high-performance street use. Note: spindle drilling is required to accept the 5/8" adjustment bolt; once drilled, the spindle cannot be returned to the factory taper configuration.
