The UMI Performance 262824-R is a complete GM F-Body leaf spring traction bar kit finished in red powdercoat, engineered to dramatically improve rear traction and eliminate the wheel hop that plagues high-performance street and race builds. Designed as a true bolt-on upgrade, these traction bars mount directly to factory leaf springs or UMI leaf springs with zero cutting, welding, or chassis modification required.

This kit is paired with the UMI 2624 fabricated front mount, which incorporates the well-known "Herb Adams Mod" — a relocation modification that optimizes the instant center location for improved traction geometry. The heavy-duty fabricated mount is a direct replacement for the factory leaf spring plate, which is notorious for bending under hard acceleration.
