KMC Controls MEP-3001 24V Normally Closed Electric Valve Actuator

The KMC Controls MEP-3001 is a thermic 2-position electric valve actuator designed specifically for use with VEP-12, VEP-22, and VEP-34 series control valves. This compact actuator provides reliable normally closed (NC) operation for HVAC zone control applications in commercial and residential building automation systems.

Key Features:

• 24 VAC/VDC power supply operation for flexible installation
• Normally closed configuration - valve closes when power is removed
• 22.5 in-lb torque output for positive valve actuation
• 270-second timing for full stroke cycle
• Non-fail safe design with electronic control
• Direct-coupled mounting to compatible VEP series valves
• Proportional and two-position control capability
• Operating temperature range: 41°F to 122°F (5°C to 50°C)
• Humidity tolerance: 0 to 85% RH non-condensing

This actuator is designed for floating control applications and integrates seamlessly with building automation controllers and thermostats. The brown-coded actuator provides reliable, quiet operation for small valve control in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
