Product Details

The Modine 5H6046680001 is an OEM replacement L140-30F Auto-Reset Limit Switch designed for use in Modine unit heaters and gas-fired heating equipment. This critical safety component monitors plenum temperatures and protects the heating system from overheating damage.

When the plenum temperature reaches 140°F, the limit switch automatically opens the electrical circuit, shutting down the burner to prevent overheating. Once the unit cools to 110°F (a 30°F differential), the switch automatically resets and allows normal operation to resume — no manual reset required.

Key Features:

  • Opens at 140°F with a 30°F differential (resets at 110°F)
  • Auto-reset design — restores normal operation automatically after cool-down
  • UL and CSA approved for safety and reliability
  • Genuine Modine OEM replacement part (MPN: 5H6046680001)
  • Model designation: L140-30F
  • Compact design suited for installation in Modine unit heater applications
  • Precision-engineered contacts for accurate and repeatable switching

This limit switch is an essential safety device for maintaining proper operation of Modine gas-fired unit heaters. Replacing a faulty limit switch restores reliable overtemperature protection and helps prevent costly damage to your heating equipment.
