Modine 5H0730570004 Manual Reset Blocked Vent Switch 220°F

The Modine 5H0730570004 is a manual reset blocked vent switch designed as a critical safety component for gas-fired unit heaters and HVAC systems. This temperature-activated switch trips at 220°F to shut down heating equipment when dangerous exhaust gas spillage or improper venting is detected.

Key Features:

• 220°F temperature rating for reliable safety protection
• Manual reset (M/R) function requires physical intervention after tripping
• Prevents operation of heating equipment in blocked vent conditions
• Compatible with Modine gravity vent heaters including PD, PAE, PA, PV, and PDP models
• Genuine OEM Modine replacement part

This blocked vent safety switch monitors exhaust temperatures in the venting system. When the switch detects excessive heat buildup caused by blocked vents, restricted airflow, or improper combustion, it automatically shuts off the heater to prevent dangerous carbon monoxide spillage. The manual reset feature ensures a technician inspects and resolves the venting issue before the system can be restarted.
