Product Details

The INA 997-603-154-01 is a precision-engineered alternator decoupler pulley designed for high-performance applications. This OEM-quality component features an integrated freewheel lock mechanism that allows the pulley to overrun during deceleration, reducing vibration and extending belt life.

Key Features:

  • Overrunning alternator decoupler (OAD) design with freewheel lock technology
  • Reduces vibration and noise in the accessory belt drive system
  • Protects alternator bearings from damaging reverse rotation forces
  • Designed for manual transmission applications
  • OEM part number cross-references: 996-603-152-50, 997-603-154-00
  • Direct replacement for Porsche applications

This alternator pulley is a critical component of the charging system, allowing the drive belt to spin the alternator efficiently while the integrated decoupler mechanism absorbs engine vibrations and prevents reverse loading during rapid deceleration. INA is a trusted OEM supplier known for precision bearing and pulley technology.
