TeraFlex 4403481 Delta Big Brake Kit Front 8x6.5 Bolt Pattern

The TeraFlex 4403481 Delta Front Big Brake Kit is a complete front axle brake upgrade engineered for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT models running oversized wheels and tires. Purpose-built for lifted rigs equipped with 33–42 inch tires or heavy overland gear, this kit delivers dramatically improved stopping power over the stock brake system while maintaining full compatibility with the factory proportioning valve and ABS.

At the heart of the system are high-modulus 4-piston calipers featuring heat-treated 4140 cast steel bridges paired with 6061-T6 forged aluminum piston housings. The high-modulus bridge design resists flex under hard braking loads, delivering consistent brake feel and pedal modulation. A PEDM synthetic boot material seals out water and contaminants, while a hard chrome piston coating minimizes friction. Bleeders include a built-in check valve for simplified bleeding. The low-profile bridge design accommodates 14-inch rotors behind 17-inch wheels.

The included 14 x 1.25 inch slotted and vented rotors are cast from heat-treated heavy iron for superior heat absorption. Mill-balanced construction with GEOMET corrosion-resistant coating on non-friction surfaces ensures long-term durability. Slotted venting maximizes both gas and heat dissipation for fade-resistant performance under sustained heavy braking.

Semi-metallic brake pads use a proprietary composite-resin formulation optimized for full-temperature stopping power, maximum initial bite, extended pad life, and reduced noise and dust. A drop-in pad design eliminates the need to disassemble the calipers for pad replacement.
