Product Details

The Asco 8040H6 is a compact 2-way normally closed solenoid valve designed for precise fluid control in industrial and automation applications. This valve features a 1/8" NPT port connection and operates within a pressure range of 0-15 PSI, making it ideal for low-pressure air, water, and compatible fluid systems.

Key Specifications:

  • Port Size: 1/8" NPT female connections
  • Valve Configuration: 2-way, normally closed (N/C)
  • Operating Pressure Range: 0-15 PSI
  • Flow Coefficient (Cv): 1.0
  • Body Material: Aluminum construction for corrosion resistance
  • Compact design for space-constrained installations

Applications:

  • Pneumatic control systems
  • Process automation equipment
  • Low-pressure fluid metering and control
  • Laboratory and instrumentation applications

The aluminum body construction provides excellent durability while keeping the valve lightweight. The normally closed design ensures fail-safe operation, with the valve remaining closed when power is not applied. ASCO solenoid valves are known for their reliability and long service life in demanding industrial environments.

Great products!! Good prices!!

Perfect

I had placed my order and then had been checking the confirmation email site for updates on processing and when it was shipped. It had been over a week with no updates noted just that the order was received. I emailed customer service to see if my order had shipped yet and was told they would check with the warehouse to check the status. They responded quickly to let me know what date it was shipped and provided tracking information. I appreciated the quick response and follow up by your customer service representative. Perhaps keeping the "progress of order" page updated to real time more often would be beneficial.

Great price and turnaround on the Taylor Made boat fenders I ordered. Looking other places, the yellow and black combo was hard find in the quantity in stock and diameter I needed. I'm pleased with my order.

Fast shipping and had the tires I needed when everyone else was backordered due to supply chain issues.
