Siemens Building Technology 243-00234 1/2" 24V 3-Way NPT Floating Actuator Valve CV 4.0

The Siemens Building Technology 243-00234 is a 1/2-inch NPT threaded control valve designed for HVAC and building automation applications. This valve features a 24-volt floating actuator with 3-wire control, providing precise modulating control for hot water, chilled water, and glycol solutions in commercial heating and cooling systems.

Key Specifications:

• Valve coefficient (Cv): 4.0 for accurate flow control
• Connection size: 1/2-inch NPT threaded ports
• Actuator voltage: 24VAC
• Control type: 3-wire floating actuator (FA)
• Bronze body construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Suitable for hydronic heating and cooling applications

This valve assembly combines a globe-style valve body with an integrated floating actuator, eliminating the need for separate valve and actuator purchases. The floating actuator design provides proportional control by responding to on/off signals from a controller to modulate flow. Ideal for use in VAV boxes, fan coil units, unit heaters, and other terminal equipment requiring precise temperature control.
