Siemens Building Technology 242-00234 1/2" NPT 24V 3-Way Floating Ball Valve CV 4.0

The Siemens Building Technology 242-00234 is a 1/2-inch NPT threaded floating ball valve designed for precise flow control in HVAC and building automation systems. This three-way valve operates on 24V power and features a flow coefficient (Cv) of 4.0, making it suitable for a wide range of hydronic applications including chilled water, hot water, and glycol solutions.

Key Features:

• 1/2-inch NPT threaded connections for standard pipe fitting compatibility
• 24-volt AC/DC operation for low-voltage control systems
• Three-way configuration for mixing or diverting applications
• Flow coefficient (Cv) of 4.0 for controlled flow rates
• Floating ball (FB) design provides proportional flow control
• Compatible with Siemens building automation controllers and actuators
• Durable brass construction for long service life

This valve is ideal for zone control, mixing applications, and diverting service in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The floating ball design allows for modulating control when paired with appropriate actuators, providing precise temperature regulation and energy efficiency in hydronic heating and cooling systems.
