Maxitrol MR212E-1212 1-1/2" Negative Pressure Modulator Regulator Valve

The Maxitrol MR212E-1212 is a dual-function modulator-regulator valve designed for precise temperature control in direct fired negative pressure burner applications. This valve provides non-fluctuating, instantaneous temperature control without requiring a motor or mechanically driven butterfly valve, making it ideal for industrial heating, baking, drying, and process control systems.

Key Features:

• 1-1/2" NPT threaded connections for modulating gas valve and regulator
• Designed exclusively for negative pressure (pull through) applications
• Maximum inlet pressure of 5 PSI (340 mbar) with no upstream pressure regulator required
• Factory set for applications up to -1.5" w.c. and field adjustable for up to -3.5" w.c.
• Maximum current draw of 400mA
• Provides infinite, continuous flame adjustment
• No external mechanical activation required

Technical Specifications:

• Counter spring keeps valve in closed position despite downward pull of negative pressure
• Maximum emergency exposure: 12.5 PSI
• Operating ambient limit: -40°F to 125°F (-40°C to 50°C)
• Non-operating temperature range: -50°F to 185°F (-45°C to 85°C)
• Gas flow capacities up to 30,000 CFH
• UL and CSA Listed

This valve is part of the Maxitrol Selectra Electronic Gas Flame Modulating System and works with compatible Maxitrol amplifiers and signal conditioners for automated process control. The integrated regulator eliminates the need for a separate upstream pressure regulator, simplifying installation and reducing system complexity.

Note: This product should be installed by a licensed gas fitter in accordance with local codes and regulations.
