Dynamic Friction 2551-0971-00 R1 Optimum OE Disc Brake Pad Set

The Dynamic Friction Company (DFC) 2551-0971-00 is an R1 Optimum OE disc brake pad set engineered to deliver original equipment-level braking performance. Designed as a direct OEM replacement, these pads are formulated to match the exact friction characteristics specified for your vehicle, ensuring consistent pedal feel, reliable stopping power, and long-lasting rotor-friendly performance.

DFC sources friction materials from OEM suppliers across four continents, matching each formulation to the specific demands of the vehicle platform — including axle position, vehicle weight, caliper output, and suspension tuning. This precision approach ensures the correct friction balance for vehicles equipped with ABS and modern automated braking systems.

Key Features:

• OEM-matched friction formulation — engineered to replicate original brake pad performance for safe, predictable stops
• Rotor-friendly compound — promotes longer rotor and brake pad service life
• Chamfered and slotted design (where applicable) — minimizes brake noise and vibration
• Factory scorched — uncured bonding agents removed to reduce the need for break-in and deliver full stopping power from the first stop
• Positive mold construction — ensures consistent friction material density throughout the pad
• Low copper formula — compliant with California and Washington environmental restrictions for 2021/2025
• Direct OEM replacement — engineered for a precise, hardware-compatible fit

The DFC 2551-0971-00 brake pad set is an ideal choice for drivers seeking dependable, factory-quality braking performance with the reliability and consistency of a purpose-matched friction compound.
