Dynamic Friction 2551-0163-00 Optimum OE Disc Brake Pad Set - R1

The Dynamic Friction Company (DFC) 2551-0163-00 is an R1 Optimum OE disc brake pad set engineered to deliver factory-matched stopping performance. Developed as part of DFC's 5000-series Euro platform, these pads are specifically formulated for European vehicle applications, providing optimal braking response, low dust output, and minimal noise — characteristics demanded by European OEM brake standards.

Key Features:

• Euro Ceramic Formulation: Low copper ceramic compound compliant with 2021 California and Washington state regulations (Leaf Mark B certified)
• OE-Matched Performance: Friction material selected to replicate original equipment specifications for consistent pedal feel and reliable stopping power
• Thermal Barrier Technology: Minimizes heat transfer from the pad into the caliper, reducing the risk of brake fluid boil under demanding conditions
• Low Dust & Low Noise: Engineered to keep wheels clean and braking quiet during everyday driving
• Stable Friction Across Temperature Range: Maintains consistent braking performance whether cold or fully warmed up
• Chamfered & Slotted Design: Where applicable, reduces brake noise and promotes even pad wear
• Scorched Finish: Factory pre-scorching removes uncured bonding agents, minimizing the break-in period and maximizing stopping power from the first stop
• Positive Mold Construction: Promotes consistent friction material density throughout the life of the pad

Dynamic Friction Company maintains one of the industry's largest brake part inventories, covering domestic and foreign vehicle applications. The 2551-0163-00 pads are a direct-fit replacement designed to restore your braking system to factory performance standards without modification.
